As you can see from these pictures Mr. and Mrs. C. wanted to update their family room in this magnificent home. You'll see me standing by the framed out fireplace, this is where all their audio and video gear used to be. We had to route all their wiring to the back of the room to provide a clean uncluttered look for the new layout. Ten rooms of music cabling were moved plus we had to add new cables for the plasma that is now installed above the new fireplace. This plasma TV is a Pioneer 50" HDTV and it looks amazing on and even off. The speakers are Boston Acoustics' flagship speaker, the VR-M90's. Gorgeous hand-rubbed finish and an even more refined sound. These are "bi-wired" with high-end cabling back to the head-end to take full advantage of this incredible speaker. The receiver is Denon's new AVR-3805 which provides incredible flexibility and great sound quality for the money. A few extras: The cabinet is vented with a dual-fan, positive-convection, automatic cooling system that kicks in when it gets too hot in there. There's an Infrared repeater system so the client can point his remote at the TV and control all of the equipment behind them hidden in the cabinet. So many cool things happening in here....and it all works with a single touch on one remote! |
